Four Seasons Health and Health Maintenance Qigong
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 8th ~ 7:00 to 9:00 PM


In this workshop we will review in depth the basic principles and practice of Health Maintenance Qigong and Four Seasons Health Qigong. We will begin with a review of the Four Seasons Health Qigong set that incorporates deep breathing and slow relaxed movements of the chest, back and spine. The practice of this set will improve circulation and help strengthen the muscles and tendons in these areas, reduce pain and stiffness, increase flexibility, and facilitate healing and rejuvenation. We will then present the Health Maintenance Qigong set for the heart, spleen and stomach, which are most active and vulnerable during the early and late summer season. We will also introduce a set of Four Seasons Health Qigong exercises for the heart that are also used during the summer and fall for the lungs.

Rich Lund will be conducting this intensive. He has 25 years experience in Tai Chi and Qigong. He will describe in detail the exercises and make adjustments in the posture and movements of each participant. Handouts are provided. Refreshments will be served.
